BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
A signed booking form together with a deposit of £100 per person (non-refundable) must be received within 10 days from your telephone or e-mail reservation. If your booking is within ten weeks of your holiday date, full payment must be forwarded with the booking form. If payment is not received, Ski Powder Pigs reserves the right to cancel your booking and charge cancellation fees. No contract shall exist between Ski Powder Pigs and the client until a signed booking form, deposit have been received. Confirmation and invoice will be issued to the person making the reservation once all booking details are confirmed. The booking form can be returned electronically or printed off the website, completed and returned by post to our Registered Office which is given on the home page.
GENERAL
Ski Powder Pigs operates a no smoking policy in their Chalet. Guests may only smoke on the external balcony and outside of the Chalet. There is a sauna and jacuzzi facility provided in the Chalet. Guests use these facilities at their own risk. There are safety notices in the Chalet with regard to the use of these facilities and guests are advised to read and abide by the contents of these notices. These facilities are kept in full working order throughout your holiday. However, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen breakdown or mechanical failure which would render these facilities being non-operational. We will also close these faciltiies if any guests are not using these facilities in accordance with the relevant notices and will do so without notice and without compensation.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations made by the client prior to departure for what ever reason must be made in writing to Ski Powder Pigs, and the appropriate charges will be made upon receipt of your letter.
Notice of cancellation:
6 - 10 weeks 40% of your full holiday cost (less deposits paid)
4 - 6 weeks 60% of your full holiday cost (less deposits paid)
2 - 4 weeks 75% of your full holiday cost (less deposits paid)
2 weeks or less 100% of your full holiday cost (less deposits paid)
DAMAGE
Any damage caused by a client to the Chalet, its contents or equipment inside and outside, whether accidental or otherwise, must be paid for in the resort.
INSURANCE
This is not included in our price, but can be booked and paid for by clients independently. Ski Powder Pigs would like to advise their clients that it is a legal requirement for all persons taking part in any snow sports to have insurance. This insurance must cover mountain rescue, third party liability and off-piste activities (even if clients are not expecting to venture off-piste).
BAGGAGE
All personal belongings and baggage, including skis stored in or outside of the chalet are at all times and in all circumstances at the owner's risk, and covered by own insurance. Where a third party are involved, Ski Powder Pigs accepts no liability for loss, damage or delay.
PRICE GUARANTEE
We guarantee that no surcharges will be added to the price of your Chalet accommodation once you have made a confirmed booking. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the price of our holidays at will, however, the price shown on the confirmation of booking invoice will be the price charged.
COMPANY LIABILITY
Ski Powder Pigs does not accept liability for the actions of any company, person or circumstances over which we have no control. This includes ski lift, ferry, train and bus companies, transfer companies. Clients travelling by air are bound by the terms and conditions of the airline with whom they are travelling, signing a separate booking form to obtain protection with the licensed tour operators ATOL.
We promise to make sure that the holiday that you have booked with Ski Powder Pigs and which we have agreed to provide will be provided as part of our contract with you and will be provided with reasonable skill and care with your full health and safety and enjoyment at the forefront of our service to you.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY AND BEHAVIOUR
Any loss or damage caused by you or any members of your party to property belonging to Ski Powder Pigs, must be paid for in full by you. You are responsible at all times for the safety of your personal baggage, documents and all ski equipment including rental equipment. We ask that all guests behave respectfully during their holiday so as not to enfringe on the enjoyment of other guests staying in the chalet.
COMPLAINTS AND PROBLEMS
In the unlikely event of any problem occurring during your holiday, a complaint must be made immediately to the owners of Ski Powder Pigs who run the Chalet and who will therefore be available at all times during the course of your holiday.
CANCELLATION BY SKI POWDER PIGS
Ski Powder Pigs reserves the right to cancel your holiday at any time for reasons of "Force Majeure". These include weather, strikes, riots, war, natural disaster, political unrest, civil strife, epidemics, acts of God, etc. We do not accept liability for disruption, travel delay or holiday enjoyment as a result of "Force Majeure".
SKI COMPANION SERVICE
This service is free and we carry out this service with clients full safety in mind. We cannot be held responsible for damage or injury to clients under any circumstances whilst they are taking part in a ski companion group. This service is available to confident blue run skiers and above.
